MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES PRESENTATIONS 2
Hello :)
Here we are again for the multiple intelligence presentations. I will continue explaining the multiple intelligences that we are missing, so let’s begin.
Let’s
start with Intrapersonal intelligence, we learned that is defined as the
capacity for self-reflection, to be aware of strengths and weaknesses,
feelings, and thought processes that constitute self-knowledge.
Some
characteristics that we learned were:
The
individuals are highly intuitive, and independent.
They
are able to apply their learnings to daily activities and tasks practically.
They
are good at controlling their impulses and negative reactions like anger,
jealousy, frustration, or annoyance.
They
often need quiet time alone to reflect on their thoughts.
What
are the activities that we can perform with this intelligence:
Keep a journal.
Write
an autobiography.
Storytelling
Meditation.
Some
of the benefits:
Reflect
and evaluate your inner feelings.
Give
you a greater compassion for and understanding of your own
Allow
one to understand and work with oneself.
Intrapersonal
Professions:
Entrepreneur, Author, Social Worker, Psychologist, Planner, and Manager.
The activity that this group performed was about choosing a card that can contain different emotions like happy, sad, and upset, and the participants must explain a situation where they were feeling those emotions.

The
following group explained Naturalist Intelligence, originally this intelligence
was not included in the first proposal of multiple intelligences but was
recognized as an independent intelligence in 1995.
And it is defined as the ability to appreciate, categorize, classify, explain, and connect the things of everyday life with nature. And something important is that this is a type of intelligence that we develop at the beginning of our lives.
Some
important characteristics are the following:
Take
care and love plants and animals.
Collection
of natural elements.
Be
in contact and concerned with/about the natural environment.
People with this type of intelligence love nature in all possible ways, they love hiking, camping, walks in the parks, and they love to have more than one pet.
The activity this group performed was “Guess what is in the box?” they used different things from nature like flowers, rocks, and fruits. It was fun to see how our classmates were scared to put their hands inside the box.

About
Existential Intelligence, we learned that is also known as spiritual
intelligence and that is a rare form of intelligence.
This
intelligence is defined as the capacity or ability of an individual to understand
and contemplate philosophical topics relating to mankind’s existence.
It
involves being concerned with ultimate issues and thinking about abstract concepts
and ideas that go beyond what is visible or audible.
Some
of the characteristics that people with this intelligence has is that they are
interested in the origin of life, the meaning of death, the purpose of our existence,
spiritual knowledge, and practices. They desire to serve and help others,
leaving egocentrism.
And
how do we know that we are making use of Existential Intelligence?
Well,
if we encourage people to figure out what happens, the causes, and the
solutions,
If
we feel attraction to spiritual practices and readings,
If we respond rationally against difficult situations.
People
who develop it are abstract and philosophical thinkers and people who show
interest in the big questions. Also, there are no specific jobs that use this
intelligence since it is present on a daily basis.
The
activity this group performed was that they created groups, and they ask each
group questions like Are we real? What is the meaning of life? Why we are here?
It was very interesting and difficult to answer this type of question.

Interpersonal
intelligence refers to the ability of a person to relate well with people and
manage relationships. It enables people to understand the needs and motivations
of those around them, which helps strengthen their overall influence.
People
with interpersonal intelligence seem to stand out in a crowd as people with
lots of friends and can easily adapt to social situations. They communicate
effectively and enjoy participating in discussions and debates. Individuals
with interpersonal intelligence are characterized by their sensitivity to other
people’s moods, temperaments, motivations, and feelings.
Characteristics
of Interpersonal Intelligence
People
with strong Interpersonal Intelligence are inclined to:
Listen
carefully to others
